派克PRDM系列元件为直动式减压阀。主要用于将液压系统中的某一支路压力调节到系统公称压力以下的某一预定值。此外,还将该支路的溢流功能集于一体。压力表接口或测量接口直接在元件上,以便控制支路压力。派克PRDM系列减压阀为常开元件,在设定值以下它允许油液自由地流过控制流道。当下游流道中压力升高至预调节的压力时,阀芯向关闭的方向移动,以减少来自主系统的流量,缓冲柱塞将自行调整,以维持预定的支路系统压力。当支路系统压力由于外力作用升高时,缓冲柱塞将克服弹簧力移动并且使大量的油液流回油箱,使压力不再继续升高.
